Playing In The Creek

I finally had a Sunday off to spend with the family and we decided to cool off from the early summer heat in Beaver Dam Creek. We are very lucky to have the creek run through our whole lot. Ellie had a great time playing in the creek and walking around on the trails. You can tell by the first picture that she let us know when she was ready to go home and relax with a movie. Chris has cleared some of the land by the creek and it will make a perfect camp site for an overnight adventure.

Easter Pictures Finally

Yes, I know that these pictures are long overdue. Life has been crazy and I am trying to get my real estate websites up and that is taking a good amount of my time. Please bear with me while I am making all my transitions.
We had a wonderful Easter. We were able to share it with Uncle John and Aunt Kirsten and my whole family. Ellie and her cousins enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt that was moved inside due to the cold weather. Uncle John and Aunt Kirsten came out on Saturday to spend the day with Ellie and brought over a Easter House to Ellie to put together. It came with over 200 hundred pieces that include foam bricks and lots of stickers. I believe that Aunt Kirsten ended up putting most of it together since Ellie has the attention span of an ant.

Going Fishing!

We took Ellie fishing for the first time a couple of weeks ago and she had mixed feelings about the experience. She loved holding the fishing line but wasn't to happy when a fish got on her line. She caught one fish and Chris was showing her how to pull the fish in and she threw the pole at him and yelled "you do it". She is just like her mom when it comes to baiting the hook with worms as well. We both patiently waited for Chris to take care of that for us. Ellie and I both refused to remove the fish from our lines as well. Chris was very busy taking care of all of our fishing issues. It was a wonderful day at Franklin Park's pond and we caught two fish. I think that makes us fishing pros. We look forward to taking her back there to fish and walk the nature trails.

A Photographer is Born

Ellie loves to take pictures. She steals our camera all the time for a quick photo shoot with our dog Luke. She took this picture of Uncle John and Chris a couple of weeks ago and I have to admit that she is a better photographer than me. I hope that she continues her passion of photography throughout her life.
