Singing and Tumbling

Ellie loves to sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and Ring around the Roses! She doesn't like to sing on command. We have been trying to capture her singing and this is what we got last night.

She's also a big tumbler as you can see at the end of the video!

New Way To Travel!

Ellie wanted to go home with Aunt Mary. She managed to climb herself into Aunt Mary's bad. She loved being carried around the house in the bag. We have a ski trip planned next month but I am pretty sure Ellie won't be able to travel like this.
Ellie is at the age now where she gets into everything. We hide stuff around the house all the time and she still manages to find where we put them. We need to start working on teaching her how to put them back where she found them.

The Home Office

We are lucky to have nice home office to work out off. The office has entertained Ellie since she was a little baby. She loves to play with our computers! Her favorite thing is to sit at the desk and draw. I think she might be an artist! I can't even begin to tell you how many pens we have lost. Ellie collects all our pens and keeps them in hiding. I love these two pictures. She gets in trouble with Daddy when she writes on his important proposals. It's hard to imagine that she was that little! I am thankful that her hair finally has grown in. She was a cute bald baby!

Ellie Learns to Cook!

Aunt Mary came up for a visit a few weeks ago and decided to give Ellie her first cooking lesson. As you can tell Ellie looks like a real chef. I am sure most chef's wear their food all over their clothes. Ellie had a wonderful time cooking with Aunt Mimi. They made the most beautiful heart shape cake. Daddy enjoyed eating it for several days.

Story Time

Ellie loves to be read to! She loves to look at all the pictures and point to all the items that she can say by name. The one problem is that she barely lets us finish one book before she has another on in front of us. I can't even begin to tell you how many times we have read Walter the Farting Dog and One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish. I love this picture of Aunt Alexa and Ellie reading on Christmas morning. I hope that Ellie's love of books continues to grow!

Yes, I am finally Posting about Christmas

Ellie had a wonderful Christmas. This Christmas was all about toys that she could get on and move with and using her imagination for drawing. Ellie got a Thomas the Train, a big wheel, eisel and tons of other wonderful gifts. Thank goodness we have a finished basement. It was wonderful to be able to celebrate with both sides of the family. The big surprise of Christmas was that Ellie was allergic to our Christmas tree. It's going to be artifical from now on! You can't really see the rash but she had it all over her cute little face and back. Chris and I got rid of the tree the day after Christmas and life went back to normal.

Congratulations to Uncle JP on his engagement to Diane! We are so happy for you! We hope to come down soon to help celebrate the occassion. We can't wait for the wedding in August!
